ERWIN — Registration for summer sports camps at Erwin Parks and Recreation Department opens June 15 through 30.

Boys and girls basketball, baseball, softball and football are offered at Erwin Park for children ages 9 and up.

Both baseball and softball run from July 25 to 28.

Triton coach Jake Willis is expected to lead the baseball clinic and Lady Hawks skipper Mark Whitman will head the softball workouts. Each three-hour session for both sports starts at 9 a.m. and ends at noon.

Basketball camps, both boys and girls, are led by Triton’s T.J. Morrison, August 8 through 11. The sessions will also be from 9 a.m. to noon each day.

Football instructions run from August 15 to 18 and are taught by the Erwin Parks and Rec coaching staff. Children ages 9 to 14 are eligible, with workouts beginning at 6:30 p.m., and ending at 8 p.m.

To sign up, visit Erwin Town Hall Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Registration for each camp is $20 and participants should visit the city's website to download forms.

There is a limit of 20 campers per sport and each camp must have at least eight registered or it will not be held.

For more information, call the Erwin Parks and Rec office at 910-897-5840.
