Woman killed in Anderson Creek wreck

Posted

A woman was killed after she was ejected from her motorcycle in a crash with a sports utility vehicle south of Lillington Friday afternoon.

North Carolina State Highway Patrol troopers say the wreck was reported at 12:22 p.m.

Michelot Aristilde, 32, of Lillington was driving an SUV east on Lemuel Black Road when he attempted to make a left turn onto Woodshire Drive. The turn placed Aristilde’s vehicle directly in the path of a motorcycle being ridden by Stacie Elaine Sulfaro, 47, of Bunnlevel, according to the Highway Patrol.

Sulfaro was unable to avoid the SUV. Troopers say she was ejected from the motorcycle onto the highway and succumbed to her injuries.

The wreck report indicates Aristilde at fault for entering the path of the motorcycle.

The investigation continues. No charges were issued as of Monday.
