Holly Renee West and Daniel John Pauley were united in marriage April 23 in the Cloister Garden at the O.Henry Hotel in Greensboro. The Rev. Gerald Donnelly officiated the double-ring ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Steve and Donna West of Erwin. She is the granddaughter of J.D. and Lois Faye Bass of Dunn and the late Floyd Sr. and Doris West of Erwin.
The bride is a 2015 graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a Bachelor of Arts degree in journalism and media. She is currently the marketing and communications manager at Family Service of the Piedmont in Jamestown, North Carolina.
The groom is the son of Ellen Pauley of Lisle, Illinois, and Pete Pauley of Cary. He is the grandson of the late John “Jack” and Joan Billie and the late Donald and Patsy Pauley.
The groom is a 2014 graduate of Loras College with a Bachelor of Arts degree in accounting. He works as the finance director at Southeast Nonprofit Housing in Raleigh.
The bride was given in marriage by her father.
Attending the bride as matron of honor was her sister, Hannah Parker of Seattle.
Serving as best man was Kevin Principato of Chicago, brother-in-law of the groom.
The ring bearer was Aiden Parker of Seattle, nephew of the bride.
The wedding was directed by Taneka Scales.
The couple have made their home in Greensboro.
The bride and groom hosted a reception in the Hawkins-Brown Room at the O.Henry Hotel.
The cake was made by the bride’s sister, Hannah Parker.
The groom’s mother, Ellen Pauley, and aunt, Patricia Coleman, assembled a candy table for guests.
A memory table was displayed at the reception honoring the bride and groom’s late grandparents, as well as the groom’s aunt, Maureen Fisher, and bride’s great-grandparents, Clester Paul and Linnie Mae Bass.
The parent’s of the groom hosted a rehearsal dinner April 22 at Bravo! Italian Kitchen in Greensboro.
A wedding shower with a French theme was hosted by the bride’s mother and sister at Chicora Golf Club, Dunn.
