Victory!

Brothers and sisters, we must demand high performance at all levels, so rise up and boldly go after victory. Have a warrior mentality. Align purpose with prophetic destiny. We absolutely love winning. Based upon the resurrection of victorious Christ, God gives victory.

“But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ” (1 Corinthians 15:57). Jesus defeated hell and the grave (1 Corinthians 15:15). We have victory through our Lord Jesus Christ; the death, burial and resurrection of the Messiah, Jesus Christ, is at the heart of the gospel.

Victory and fight

Win or lose? There is a spiritual fight against God’s plans and callings on our lives — spiritual warfare. God is fighting our battles, so the battles are not ours. Yes, there’s a war going on, but we carry the anointing of a warrior. We win. “He has redeemed my soul in peace from the battle that was against me, for there were many against me (Psalm 55:18).”

Victory and focus

Victory or defeat? Well, that dream assignment may require a level of sacrifice and focus. It could mean a lifestyle of sacrificial preparation in order to achieve something better. It may seem burdensome now, but those sacrifices might reap a harvest. Lord, focus our minds, hearts and lives. Defeat is not an option.

Victory and finances

Life or doom? Making bad investments and financial decisions could seem like a death sentence, but we refuse to be a part of the following: going broke, losing money to bad habits, blowing away money, acquiring mountains of debt, spending every dime, letting money vanish into thin air and having a lifestyle that exceeds the paycheck. We have a grip on our finances and don’t depend on others for an easy, quick fix. Amen?

Yes, children of God, dive into those finances. It’s financial planning based on Biblical principles of stewardship and generosity. Let’s make the most of resources that have been entrusted to us. Are we faithful stewards (1 Corinthians 4:2)?

Ultimately, for the believer, the finished work of Christ on the cross means the identification of victory over sin, defeat and doom. He gives victory! We win.

Good old-fashioned advice: Don’t let personal success replace family.

Prayer: God Almighty, we have found You to be a Father. We set our hearts to trusting You. We have withstood the pain of our past, so we are prepared to stand in the power of purpose. We remain thankful with no complaints. In the name of Jesus, Amen.
