Supports ID to vote
All people, all of us, Black, White or Hispanic, need an ID for everything we encounter. Could we not use this same ID to vote? Democrats are completely against voter ID, which is the only honest way for elections. This is not suppressing anyone from voting. If we want to vote, we will vote. ... People in North Carolina approved voter ID by 80 percent and a Democratic judge ruled against the will of the people.
Not the bubonic plague
Known as Black Death for the corpses it produced, (the bubonic plague) ... decimated the world’s population by 75 million to 200 million. COVID-19 has killed 600,000 Americans as of July 25. These numbers are facts, not “fake news.” They do not derive from hearsay such as “I personally know of about 40 people who took the shot and they contracted the virus.” (“Low vaccine rate isn’t causing COVID spike,” Sound Off, July 23). Actually, those not fully vaccinated comprise 91 percent of the deaths in the current spike. COVID victims who have had their shots survive at a 9 to 1 ratio over those who have not, and with fewer hospitalizations. Surely those 14th century fatalities would have welcomed a free vaccine.
