Linden student graduates with math degree

Kaitlyn VanArtsdalen of Linden graduated with a degree in mathematics from Bloomsburg University of Pennsylvania. VanArtsdalen was one of nearly 1,200 students who received their academic degrees.

Angier native on MCPHS Dean’s List

Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences (MCPHS) University announced that Jermaine Gregory has been named to the Dean’s List for the spring 2021 semester.

Gregory is a native of Angier and is pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Premedical Health Studies. He is expected to graduate from the Boston, Massachusetts, campus in 2024.

The Dean’s List recognizes those students with a full-time course load who have achieved outstanding scholarship with a 3.5 GPA or higher for the academic term.

SNHU announces honors lists

Southern New Hampshire University in Manchester announced the following students were named to the summer 2021 President’s and Dean’s lists.

Dunn students on Dean’s List

Lee University has announced its Spring 2021 Dean’s List.

Dean’s List recognition is earned by full-time, on-campus students with a semester grade point average between 3.7 and 4.00.

The following local students made the list: Haleigh Blalock and Michael Dermott, both of Dunn.

Local cadet awarded gold star

Gold stars were awarded to cadets and students at The Citadel in Charleston, South Carolina who achieved a 3.7 grade point average or higher in the spring 2021 semester. Cadets and students who achieve gold star recognition are also placed on The Citadel’s dean’s list.

The nearly 550 cadets and students recognized for their academic achievements during the spring 2021 semester include:
