Monkeypox webinar to be held Thursday

FAYETTEVILLE — The Cumberland County Department of Public Health is partnering with the Cumberland County HIV Taskforce to host a Monkeypox Informational Webinar from noon to 1 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 11. Members of the public are invited to participate.

The Health Department Epidemiology Clinic staff and Dr. Jennifer Green, health director, will provide monkeypox information. A question-and-answer session will be held at the end of the presentation.

Individuals may call the Health Department at 910-433-3600 to be screened for eligibility for a vaccination appointment or testing for monkeypox.
