Five golfers from area high schools turned in top-25 scores during Tuesday's 3A East Regional at Lockwood Folly Country Club, with four making their first trip to states.

Western Harnett's Jewel Gilchrist-Lopez was one of two freshmen from local schools to qualify, finishing the 18-hole event with a 23-over par 95 and tying for 11th place in her first regional.
