Erwin set to host pro wrestling event

ERWIN — For the second time this month, Adrenaline Pro Wrestling (APW) is set to provide live entertainment in Harnett County.

The Erwin Business Complex will play host to the outdoor spectacle scheduled for Saturday.

Erwin’s “Flex Simmons” headlines the proceedings, looking to dethrone APW champion Devin Worthy in the main event. Meanwhile, Jay Wolf, Justin Lee, “Hangtyme,” and Joseph Everhart are expected to be among the collection of other APW stars in action.

It will mark APW’s second time visiting the county following an event at the Vicious Fishes Brewery in Angier on July 3.

Tickets are $10 each, and children under 6 years old are admitted free of charge with a paying adult.

Gates open at 4:30 p.m., with the bell time set for 5:30. Fans are encouraged to bring a comfortable lawn chair.
