The YouthQuest team from Liberty University will host a Student Recharge Weekend for all area church youth groups March 29-30 at Central Baptist Church of Dunn.
YouthQuest is a student-based ministry comprised of discipleship, creative arts and worship teams. YouthQuest has two primary pillars — personal discipleship and evangelism. Throughout the weekend, the students on the YouthQuest team will empower local students to live for Christ and encourage the ongoing reflection of their Savior. YouthQuest is committed to humbly serving Christ and carrying out the mission of accomplishing God’s will in the lives of youth and their leaders.
This highly-anticipated weekend event is for all students in sixth-12th grade to engage with one another as they learn to grow in their relationship with Jesus Christ. Students will we be led in Spirit-filled worship, hear relevant messages from youth speaker Evan Young, experience focused small group discussions, and choose between a variety of workshop classes. All participants will also enjoy Saturday afternoon at Pelican’s mini-golf in Erwin.
The event will run Friday, March 29, from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. and Saturday, March 30, from 9:30 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. The cost is $25 per student and will include Friday dinner, Saturday lunch, admission to mini-golf, and Saturday dinner. Students must be registered online by a parent or church leader at www.cbcdunnstudents.com.
