Ribbon-cutting set to welcome new market

The Dunn Area Chamber of Commerce will welcome a new business, One Life Natural Market, to the city with a ribbon-cutting at 11 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 9.

The market opened at the end of October at 2312 W. Cumberland St.

Market owner Linda Seaman says she opened up the business after noticing a need in the area.

“I lived around the corner from a natural market for many years and about three and a half years ago I remarried and moved to Willow Springs and there was nothing [like a natural market] around for miles ... so I just felt like if I was missing all of these great things other people would be, too,” she said.

The market is open Monday through Saturday. It offers vitamins, herbs, essential oils, CBD, hemp products and specialty diet foods.
