One man was taken to a hospital and his family was displaced after a fire destroyed a home on Clayhole Road Saturday.
Coats-Grove Fire & Rescue responded to the home at 752 Clayhole Road for a house fire around 4:30 p.m.
Upon arrival, firefighters say they found a small home ignited with heavy smoke and flames. Fire-Rescue crews from Buies Creek, Erwin and the Angier & Black River fire departments were called in to assist at the scene.
One man was treated on the scene with oxygen and was transported to Betsy Johnson Hospital for further treatment. Residents of the home were displaced due to the damage, according to fire officials at the scene.
The Harnett County Fire Marshal’s office is investigating the cause of the blaze.
