Nolan Byrd is Rotary Student of the Week

The Dunn-Erwin Rotary Club recently recognized Mark Nolan Byrd as Student of the Week.

Nolan, a senior at Triton High School, is the son of Mark and Jennifer Byrd of Erwin. He has been active in Future Business Leaders of America, serving as treasurer his junior year and president his senior year. He is currently serving as North Carolina FBLA state vice president and student body vice president this school year.

He has also been active in the Alpha Honors Society, Beta Club, Key Club and participated on the Triton High Mock Trial Team for three years.

Nolan achieved the Eagle Scout award in the Boy Scouts of America organization this year. Nolan plans to attend the University of North Carolina at Wilmington and major in biology to pursue a career in pharmaceutical sales.
