Jimmy Edward Warren, 75, of Dunn died Saturday, Aug. 4, 2018, at his home. Mr. Warren was born March 25, 1943, in Harnett County to the late George and Margaret Phillips Warren. Mr. Warren was preceded in death by his brother, Tommy Warren.
Mr. Warren was a retired electrician and farmer. He was also a volunteer for many years with the Meadow Volunteer Fire Department. Mr. Warren was known by everyone as “Outlaw.”
A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Devotional Gardens with the Rev. Jerome Pope officiating.
Survivors include his sons, Curtis Warren and wife Kathy of Raleigh, and Jimmy Warren Jr. of Dunn; daughters, Marisha Bryant and husband Johnny of Erwin, Kim Tart and husband Chris of Lillington, and Gina Wheeler of Erwin; brother, Mickey Warren of Garner; sisters, Elaine Jackson of Dunn and Phyllis Barefoot of Garner; grandchildren, Dylan Warren, Johnie Clark, Drew Bryant, Danielle Bass, Zachary Tart, Raynor Weaver, Trey Warren and Kylie Warren; and four great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held at 1 p.m., one hour prior to the service, at Skinner & Smith Funeral Home in Dunn.
Instead of flowers, the family requests memorial be made to Meadow Volunteer Fire Department, 7409 N.C. 50 South, Benson, NC 27504.
