Local Grad Designing Homes

A graduate of Triton High School is making her mark in the local area as she designs homes in subdivisions.

Lindsey Malone, a 2018 graduate of Triton High School, is the designer of the Sand Stone subdivision located on U.S. 421 in the Plain View community.

Her employers say she has done good work.

“Lindsay has a very artistic eye and I wanted the homes that we built to be different from surrounding homes,” Caston Construction Company general contractor Lucia C. Turlington said.

Ms. Malone made all the selections for the interiors and exteriors of the homes from the selections available through Herring Interiors.

“The homes have turned out beautiful and could not have asked for someone better to assist us in our selections,” Caston Construction Superintendent Kyle Turlington said.

Ms. Malone has been accepted at Auburn University and plans to study interior design there.

She is the daughter of Steve and Lee Malone and the granddaughter of Joe and Hannah Tart, both of Dunn.

The grand opening of the three homes for Sand Stone subdivision is planned for Thursday, Aug. 23, from 2 to 6 p.m.
