Four men are in custody following an armed robbery at a home in Cameron on Monday night.
The men are accused of robbing a man at gunpoint while attending a party at the home on Farley Road, according to the Harnett County Sheriff’s Office.
“The victim reported being robbed at the residence around 11:25 p.m. Monday night,” HCSO Maj. Aaron Meredith said. “The victim said he was at a party when the men approached him, one of them brandished a firearm.”
After the robbery, the four men are accused of leaving in a vehicle, which was later stopped by a state trooper.
“When the trooper stopped them they saw the weapon inside the vehicle,” Meredith said. “They were taken into custody without incident.”
Taken from the victim was a 9mm handgun and $40 in cash, according to Meredith.
Arrested for the crime were 28-year-old Rashaun Markel White, 27-year-old Darrius Dahkeem White, 49-year-old Sherwin Octavia McKoy, all of Lillington, and 19-year-old Andrae Lavares Frederick of Cameron.
All four men face charges of conspiracy to commit robbery with a dangerous weapon.
Additionally, Rashaun White and Darrius White face one count each of robbery with a dangerous weapon. Both Rashaun White and Darrius White also face possession of a handgun by a felon and Frederick faces one count of possession of a handgun by a minor.
Darrius White, Rashaun White and McKoy were jailed in the Harnett County Detention Center under $375,000 secured bonds. Frederick’s bond was set at $300,000 secured.
