Erwin community-wide Easter sunrise service with Holy Communion will be held on Easter Sunday, April 21, at 6:30 a.m.
The public is invited to attend an Ecumenical Easter Sunrise Service to be held in the Erwin Memorial Park Cemetery on West A and South 18th Street in Erwin at 6:30 a.m. This year’s service marks the renewal of a long standing community-wide service celebrating the resurrection of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Several churches are participating and the Rev. Thomas Greene, Minister of the First Baptist Church of Erwin, will share the message. Open-table Holy Communion will be served.
Bring flashlights and folding chairs if needed. In case of rain, the service will be held in the Erwin Methodist Church Family Life Center at 600 Denim Drive.
