Coats native named named Cape Fear Valley medical services director

FAYETTEVILLE – Allison Taylor has been named service line director for medical services at Cape Fear Valley Health.

The Coats native has more than 15 years of nursing leadership experience and was previously employed as chief nursing officer at Sampson Regional Medical Center in Clinton.

She has also been a nurse manager, Cancer Center manager and Maternal Child Services manager at Betsy Johnson Regional Hospital in Dunn. Prior to that, she was a NICU staff nurse at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center.

Taylor received her Bachelor of Science in nursing from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She earned her master’s in business administration, with a concentration in Health Care Management, from Colorado Technical University.

In her new duties, Taylor will oversee Medical Services Administration, Centralized Telemetry, 2 South, 3 South, 4 South, 5 South and 6 South at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center.
