VBS at Lillington Presbyterian
Vacation Bible school will be held July 8-12 from 5:30 to 8:15 p.m. at Lillington Presbyterian Church. The theme is “Who is my Neighbor?” This event is free and dinner will be provided. Annual Women’s Convention
The annual Women’s Convention will be held July 5-7 at Mount Calvary Holiness Church of Deliverance, 114 Lakeview Drive, Four Oaks. The theme is “Holy Women — Fighting the Good Fight of Faith.”
The speakers will be Pastor Deloise Waddell, Snow Hill, Friday at 7 p.m.; Lady Jeanette Wells, Dunn, (workshop), Saturday at 4 p.m.; Pastor Mary McLaughlin, Maxton, Saturday at 6 p.m.; and Pastor Shirley Hawkins, Pikeville, Sunday at 11 a.m.

Program set at Harnett Chapel
There will be a program on Sunday beginning at 3 p.m. at Harnett Chapel Original Free Will Baptist Church located at 715 E. Edgerton St. in Dunn. It will be a battle royal featuring the speakers Elder John Woods and Elder Vickie Woods. The theme of the program is “From Our House, To The Community, To The Church House.” The public is invited.

Gospel sing at Piney Grove Chapel
Throughout the summer months, Piney Grove Chapel Baptist Church, east of Angier, will again host its Super Sunday Nights Series. Services will be held throughout the summer beginning at 6 p.m.
The Super Sunday Nights Series will feature many of the region’s most talented singers, musicians and quartets. Alice Hobbs will be featured this Sunday while the Kings Messengers will be featured on July 14.
Palmetto Street Praise in concert

Revival starts July 17 at Union Hill
Union Hill will host its annual revival July 17-19 at 7:30 nightly. Guest speaker for the week is Evangelist Dr. Hattie Lofton of Hickory Grove Disciples of Church Smithfield. The music will be provided by several local churches nightly. Pastor Eldress Rena Sutton and Union Hill Church family invite the public to attend. Union Hill Church is located at 4448 Straw Pond School Road, Dunn.
On Friday, July 12, at 7:30 p.m., there will be a Women’s Conference at Sampson Chapel Church. The conference is titled “Fearfully and Wonderfully Made!” The speaker will be Apostle Beverly Ham. On Saturday, the conference will conclude with Dr. Linda Jordan as speaker at 9 a.m. The host pastor is Elder Laeulia Lisane.
On Sunday, July 14, at 1 p.m., the Mother’s Ministry will sponsor a plate sale to include grilled chicken or barbecue or turkey barbecue for your meat choices. The plates will be either $7 (one meat) or $9 (two meats) to include two sides, bread, drink and dessert.

Remembrance, thanksgiving service
You’re invited to worship with the Cameron and McNeill family in a remembrance and thanksgiving service celebrating the 50th family reunion. The service will be held Friday at 7 p.m. at Oak Grove AME Zion Church, 3920 Bunnlevel-Erwin Road Erwin. A reception will follow the service.
