Coming Together
in Love set

The Love Center at 345 Jackson Road, Dunn, will host its annual All-America City Coming Together in Love Going Forward in Unity event from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Friday.

Pastor Randy Hill of Gospel Tabernacle Church will be the keynote speaker. The free event is open to all.

Harnett County
One-Hour Prayer planned

The Lose Violence 2 Gain Love Foundation will hold its first Harnett County One-Hour Prayer at 7 p.m. Saturday at Clarence Lee Tart Memorial Park, 1269 S. Elm St., Dunn.

Event organizers say they “are coming together as one accord to give God a prayer from our hearts, asking God for healing, protection, strength” and truth. Leaders will be praying for an end to all types of violence. The event is free and open to all.

Holy Ghost miracle revival at Maskil

There will be a Holy Ghost miracle revival June 28-30 at Maskil Fellowship Church, 5341 Green Path Road, Dunn. Service times are Friday at 7:30 p.m., Saturday at 7:30 p.m. and Sunday at 7:30 p.m. The speaker will be Prophet Phil Whitley. The pastor is Freddie Powell.

Annual women’s convention

The annual Women’s Convention will be held July 5-7 at Mount Calvary Holiness Church of Deliverance, 114 Lakeview Drive, Four Oaks. The theme is “Holy Women — Fighting the Good Fight of Faith.”

The speakers will be Pastor Deloise Waddell, Snow Hill, July 5 at 7 p.m.; Lady Jeanette Wells, Dunn, (workshop), July 6 at 4 p.m.; Pastor Mary McLaughlin, Maxton, July 6 at 6 p.m.; and Pastor Shirley Hawkins, Pikeville, July 7 at 11 a.m.

David Brown to be at Overhills Community

You’re invited to join Overhills Community Baptist Church located at 948 Overhills Road, Linden, Sunday at 6 p.m. David Brown with Brown’s Masonry will share an inspirational testimony about his experience erecting the cross at Methodist University Matthews Ministry Chapel. He will also share picture slides. The pastor is the Rev. Clyde Baber.

Super Sunday
Nights continue at Piney Grove

Throughout the summer months of June, July and August, Piney Grove Chapel Baptist Church, east of Angier, will again host its Super Sunday Nights Series. Services will be held throughout the summer beginning at 6 p.m.

The Super Sunday Nights Series will feature many of the region’s most talented singers, musicians and quartets. The Walters Family will be featured this Sunday and female soloist, Alice Hobbs, will be featured on July 7.

Joy Night
service planned

On Friday night at 7:30, there will be a Joy Night service at Davis Chapel Holiness Church. The speaker will be Minister Cathy Bell of Davis Chapel. Events for July are: July 12 at 7:30 p.m., Minister Susan Davis of Davis Chapel will be the speaker for Joy Night. July 20 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., there will be a Youth Day event. July 27 at 5 p.m., there will a Christmas in July program sponsored by Mary Ann Lanier.

Community giveaway planned Saturday

The Mother’s Ministry of Lillington Star Free Will Baptist Church will hold a community giveaway Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. There will be household items, clothes, shoes, etc. Free items, take what you need!

There will be a program on Sunday, July 7, beginning at 3 p.m. at Harnett Chapel OFWB Church located at 715 E. Edgerton St., Dunn, featuring the speakers Elder John Woods and Elder Vickie Woods. The theme of the program is “From Our House, To The Community, To The Church House.” The public is invited.

Pastor’s aide program at Mingo Hill

There will be a pastor’s aide program Sunday at 11 a.m. at Mingo Hill OFWB Church. The speaker will be Pastor Paul Tate. He will be accompanied by the Mt. Pisgah Lee Original Free Will Baptist Church family, Sanford.

The Believers will sing at Colliers Chapel at 7 p.m. this Sunday. Pastor John Haney is the pastor of the church which is located at 9377 Colliers Chapel Church Road in Linden.
