‘Catch On Fire’ Revival Starts Aug. 1

Revival Starts Aug. 1 At Harnett Chapel

The annual appreciation services for Bishop E.L. Covington will be held July 31 at 7 p.m., Aug. 3 at 7 p.m. and Aug. 4 at 6 p.m. at Mt. Calvary Holiness Church of Deliverance. The theme is “Holy Example of a Heart to Serve.”

Super Sunday Nights Continue At Piney Grove
Piney Grove Chapel Baptist Church is hosting its Super Sunday Nights Series. Homecoming, Revival Aug. 5 At Red Hill MB

VBS Starts Aug. 3
First Baptist Church of Erwin will hold its Vacation Bible School Aug. 3 from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. and Aug. 4 from 9 a.m. to noon. The theme is “Polar Blast, Where Jesus’ Love is Cool.” There will be classes for children and adults. Pizza will be served Friday and hot dogs with all the fixings on Saturday for lunch. Homecoming Celebration At Cameron Grove
The annual homecoming revival services will conclude tonight at 7 at Cameron Grove Church. The evangelist will be Pastor William T. Keys of Pine Chapel Missionary Baptist Church, Pinetops.
The 142nd homecoming celebration will be held Sunday at 10 a.m. with the message by Pastor Kenneth Swann. The celebration continues at 2:30 p.m. with the message by Dr. Anthony Farrar, pastor of Faith Missionary Baptist Church, Fuquay-Varina. He will be accompanied by his choir and congregation.

Angier Baptist Church To Hold VBS
Angier Baptist Church will hold Vacation Bible School Sunday through Thursday. The theme is “Game On: Gearing Up for Life’s Big Game.” It will begin with registration and a kick-off celebration at Keith Hills Pool Sunday from 6 to 8 p.m. (call the church office for details at 919-639-6114). Then Monday through Thursday, VBS will be held at Angier Baptist Church beginning at 7 p.m. and concluding at 9. Thursday night will be Family Night and the children will present a brief program. There will be classes for all ages — babies through adult.
Members and non-members are encouraged to attend and bring children, grandchildren, neighbors and friends. An offering will be collected each night for the Angier Area Food Pantry and Buddy Backpacks. Nonperishable food will also be collected Thursday night.
Come on out and join in for the big game, as participants learn how to gear and be prepared for life’s big game. They will begin each night in the sanctuary followed by crafts, music, Bible study and snacks.
Buffet Breakfast At Calvary Baptist
Calvary Baptist Church will sponsor a country buffet breakfast Saturday from 7 to 10:30 a.m. The menu consists of country ham, sausage, bacon, grits, eggs, homemade biscuits, red-eye gravy, peaches, jellies, molasses, coffee and juice. Donations are accepted for the meal.
