Fish Fry Plate Sale Saturday

Consuming Fire Prophetic Outreach Ministry will hold a fish fry plate sale Saturday starting at 11 a.m. at Kelly & West parking lot, 900 S. Main St., Lillington. Plates will consist of two pieces of fish, potato salad, slaw, baked beans, pound cake, bread, and soda or water. The cost is $7 or three-piece fish plate for $10. Fish sandwich and soda or water will be $5.

Pre-sale orders must be a minimum of 10 to 15 plates for delivery radius of 20 miles.

There will also be a free clothes giveaway. Women, men and children’s clothes will be available.

Plate Sale Sunday

Sunday beginning at 1 p.m., the Mother’s Ministry of Sampson Chapel Church will hold a plate sale. There will be a choice of one meat, two vegetables, dessert and drink for $8 or two meats for $10. The meat choices are turkey, barbecue, pork barbecue or grilled chicken. Vegetable choices are corn on the cob, lima beans or slaw.

The host pastor is Elder Laeulia Lisane and the church located at 8709 Green Path Road, Dunn.

Patriotic Family Day At Bethesda

Bethesda Friends will celebrate Patriotic Family Fun Saturday at the church. Activities will begin at 11 a.m. and continue until 2 p.m. There will be volleyball, basketball, corn hole, a bouncy house as well as competitive games to participate in. There will be something for everyone, including crafts for seniors. The Plain View Fire Department will be there demonstrating various fire safety tips and providing some hands-on experience. Hot dogs with all the trimmings will be served at lunchtime. Everyone is invited to join in this free celebration with lots of fun, food and good community fellowship.

Diallo To Speak At Healing Center

Apostle Dorothy Diallo of Fresh Oil Global Ministries will be the guest speaker Sunday at 11 a.m. at Healing Center Ministries. The church is located at 1500 Brick Mill Road, Coats. Apostle Mary K. McKoy is the overseer.

Upcoming Events At Mt. Olive FWB

There will be a YPCL program Sunday at 2 p.m. at Mt. Olive FWB Church, Wade. The speaker will be Elder Ronald Moore.

Vacation Bible School will be held July 11-13 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Mt. Olive FWB Church.

On July 16-19, a Christian Institute will be held at Cape Fear “A” Conference in Erwin. Service time is 6:30 nightly.

This Generation Youth Department of Red Hill Missionary Baptist Church, 1160 Red Hill Road, Cameron, will host its annual Youth Revival July 10-12 at 7:30 nightly. Keynote speakers will be the Rev. Sing At Free Gospel Community

VBS At Bethel OFWB

Bethel OFWB Church, 3168 N.C. 96 South, Four Oaks, will conduct Vacation Bible School with the theme “Game On” from July 11-15. Registration will be held July 11 from 6 to 7 p.m. Classes for all ages will be provided. Dinner will be served on Thursday and Friday at 6 p.m. with classes following until 9 p.m. On Saturday, classes run from 2 to 5 p.m., with supper and activities following until 9. It will conclude on Sunday with Lesson 5 at 10 a.m. and commencement at 11. A spaghetti lunch will follow for donations.

Kingdom Building Worship Center News

Overseer Vann and Kingdom Building Worship Center Choir will render a service at Crusade For Christ Sunday at 3 p.m. There will be a pastor’s aide service July 13 at 7:30 p.m. at Kingdom Building Worship Center. The guest speaker will be Pastor Elliott. Music will be by Green Chapel Choir. KBWC is located at 2497 U.S. 301 North, Dunn. Everyone is invited to attend.

Revival Starts July 10 At Dunn Chapel

Dunn Chapel FWB Church, 607 E. Edgerton St., Dunn, will hold its annual revival July 10-12 at 7 nightly. The speaker will be Bishop Reginald S. Hinton of Mt. Pisgah OFWB Church, Erwin. You’re invited to come for a time of worship and fellowship together. There will be different musical guests, with Mt. Pisgah rendering the service on the last night. The host pastor is Elder Timothy Thomas.
