Celebrating 100 days of school

Students at Cape Fear Christian Academy aged considerably on Feb. 13. That’s when they marked 100 days of school by dressing up as centenarians and participating in a number of activities related to the number.

Activities included: Eating 100 snacks; counting 100 Fruit Loops; stacking 100 cups or blocks; creating a 100 puzzle (by tens); turning themselves 100 by using the Oldster app; decorating a 100th day hat; exercising to 100; racing to 100 game and partner math game; working with the calendar to see how 99 turns into 100 with ones, tens, and hundreds blocks; and the 100th Day Project creating a T-shirt with 100 things on it or dressing up to look like they were 100 years old.
