BB&T and SunTrust branches, operating under the Truist umbrella, announced locations will “temporarily adjust branch banking services” starting Saturday.
Customers will still be able to access services in drive-thru lanes and at ATMs, but in-branch consultations will be conducted by appointment only.
Some branches without drive-thru lanes will remain open with regular enhanced cleaning and sanitation procedures, according to Truist.
Branches that offer in-branch consultations will incorporate controlled access protocols for lobbies to continue to serve clients in a safe and secure manner, the banks’ parent company said online. Contact your local branch to schedule an appointment.
Online banking services will also continue to be available.
